Derek has been in the pool since he was 4yrs old. He hasn’t stopped and swimming has become a lifestyle for him. From swimming recreationally, to swim teams, to now going on almost 2yrs of teaching families to swim in his life, Derek is the trainer for you! Derek believes swimming is one of the most important things one can learn and it’s a life skill. He has taught everyone from little kids as young as 4 to as old as 60. With Derek also swimming in high school, all the way to college and playing water polo, he has the knowledge you need for him to be your next Privateers instructor.
